You can permanently delete your VED Saarthi account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains exactly how — and what happens once we receive your request.

1. How to request deletion

Users can request deletion of their VED Saarthi account and associated personal data by sending an email to info@vediautodevops.com from their registered email address. Requests from any other address will be rejected so we can be sure the request is genuinely from the account owner.

2. What we delete

After receiving the request, we will verify the account and delete:

Your user profile (name, email, profile picture)
Login and session details
Chat history — every conversation and message
Uploaded files and images (documents, photos, generated art)
App usage data (activity, preferences, memory)

Deletion is permanent. Once removed, chats and files cannot be restored — please export anything you want to keep before submitting your request.

3. Data we may retain

Some data may be retained if required for legal, tax, payment, fraud prevention, or compliance purposes. Examples:

Payment / refund transaction records — retained for the period mandated by Indian tax authorities.
Audit-log entries relating to abuse, moderation strikes, or disputes — retained until the matter is fully resolved.
Anonymised, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be linked back to you.

Such data will be retained only for the period required and will not be used for marketing or profiling purposes.

4. Turnaround time

Account deletion requests are usually processed within 7 working days of us receiving your verified email. You will receive a confirmation email from info@vediautodevops.com once the deletion is complete. If you don't hear back within 7 working days, please write to us again — occasional emails do get lost.

5. Alternatives to full deletion

If you don't want to lose everything, consider one of these softer options first — just email us with the specific request:

Pause billing — cancel your subscription but keep your account and chats.
Wipe chats only — keep the account, remove all conversation history.
Wipe uploaded files only — keep chats, remove images and documents.
